Ferrin House (also known as the Cushing Street Cafe & Bar) is located at 198 W. Cushing St. (Cushing St. and Meyer Ave.) in the Barrio Historico. Cushing St. was named after Howard Cushing who was killed by Apaches in 1871 during a raid on the community.
Ferrin House was built in the 1870's by Joseph Ferrin who combined his home with a general store that he ran.
The Cushing St. Bar (198 W. Cushing St, Tucson, Arizona, 520-622-7984) has many 1880's furnishings and a collection of photographs of the historical neighborhood.
