| HISTORIC ARMORY PARK Armory Park was established as a historic neighborhood in 1974 and was the first "official" historic district in Tucson. Armory park is the site of the first Camp Lowell before it moved to the current location on Craycroft. The homes in Armory park were built by the affluent and work class of the late 1800's and early 1900's. The boundaries for the Armory Historical District is 12th St. to the north, 19th St. to the south, 3rd Ave on the east and Stone Ave to the west.
