TUCSON'S EASTSIDE

One of our nation's pride is the Saguaro National Monument with it's forest of Saguaro cactus nestled at the base of the Rincon Mountains.  The Saguaro Monument is home not only to the Saguaro cactus but to coyotes, javelina, bobcats, gila monsters, snakes, deer, desert tortoise and other desert wildlife.  Click here for further information on the Saguaro National Monument.
A fun place for dinner or drinks after spending the day hiking in the Saguaro Monument is Saguaro Corners Restaurant at Escalante & Old Spanish Trail.  Sit by the large windows and watch wildlife gather around a watering hole.
