49er's GOLF CLUB
Spread along the wooded riverbed at the eastern edge of Tucson, the Forty Niner Country Club has changed little since it opened in 1961. Though not as demanding or long as some of the more modern courses in the area, the tree lined fairways and tightly guarded doglegs pose the same challenges they did more than 35 years ago when the club hosted the PGA Tour Tucson Open. The course is the work of William Francis Bell, one of the more prominent architects of his day. The Forty Niner Club is a privat club with a lot of different memebership programs available for those who wish to return frequently.  http://www.irigolfgroup.com
